Angie Firebaugh's appointment went well at the Moffit Center in Tampa, FL. The doctor she saw there is going to contact her doctor here to clear up some questions and check on one report. She will have a bone scan next week. She doesn't have to make a decision on chemo until she gets those results.

Julia Parker saw her surgeon Tuesday. The cancer on her pancreas is a very small spot. They've done blood work and a CT. This will tell the surgeon and her team exactly what they need to do. Her doctor team is meeting Monday to go over her tests and records and will contact her with the plan to take care of this.

Sharon Kidd is having shoulder replacement surgery Monday, November 25 at RMH.

Sherry Kidd's new pacemaker surgery went well Wednesday and is home.

Lexi Carter is doing good from her surgery yesterday and home now! She still can't hear out of her left ear and the doctor yesterday told her it could take 2-3 months for that to come back! So prayers it comes sooner.

Donnie Noel's fibrosis lung disease. He FINALLY received his medication today and is starting it. He's been told the medication will effect his liver so pray it won't cause serious damage. Also pray he won't experience the other possible gastro side effects. His urologist did call today with the good news that the bladder cancer is gone! For 1 year every 4 months he will have a cystoscopy to check and be sure it doesn't return.

Sandra Austin has started her 12 weeks of chemo. She has it every Wednesday . They're trying to shrink the tumor before doing surgery. If this doesn't work, they will try a stronger chemo. 2 down, 10 to go.

Charlene McKnight's MOH's surgery for skin cancer went well last week. 

Sandra Rigney had a pacemaker put in last week. And they just started her on some new medication.

Brenda Sink's cancer is back. She's found out she's not a candidate for surgery because it's spread too much. She's refused chemo so waiting to find out if she's a candidate for immunotherapy. Should know in a week.

Joe Sutliff  is at Our Lady of the Valley going through rehab for surgery on broken ankle.

Barbara Wieringa is moving into Friendship Manor this afternoon. She fell Tuesday again but thankfully x-ray showed no breaks.

Patricia Beavers' tests have confirmed she has Alzheimer's disease. She will meet with her neurologist on Nov. 25 to go over his recommendations.

Shannon Stinson is having back surgery December 10. 

Kristi Blake is having surgery December 20.

Debbie Thompson is experiencing her pancreas making too much insulin. She's taking some medication to see if it will bring her insulin level down. So far it seems to be helping some.

Sabrina Wood hurt back and in a lot of pain - trying to set up back surgery.

Jo Ann Aldrich is at Brandon Oaks for rehab from her recent fall and breaking her right hip, arm and wrist. Her number to her room is (540) 283-8603 if you'd like to give her a call. She finally got the rod and pins out of her wrist Monday! She received news she'll finally be discharged on Christmas Eve!
